THE COACHES

Coaching is a great experience and I look forward to continuing to do so for the years to come. Last year was my first time coaching and I got to work with a great group of girls who were all eager to learn.
— Sarah

Head of Coaching – Meg

Meg is a very valuable part of our coaching team at HFNC. A qualified secondary school teacher and experienced netballer, Meg leads our coaching pathway. All HFNC coaches are girls from the senior playing teams. Meg leads this team to encourage leadership and confidence in the senior girls. Meg has many years of experience through playing netball and enjoying watching her daughters play in many competitions for many years.

Coaches Co-Ordinator – Kate

Kate is a passionate and dedicated Coaches Co-Ordinator who works hard with each and every player and coach to make sure the teams are run with the club spirit of fair play, support and passion. Kate works with Meg to make sure the coaches are supported and the HFNC community is working together for the players.

"I really enjoy helping young players to develop their skills, confidence and team spirit and also love giving the new players the opportunity to learn coaching skills
and techniques."

– Meg, Head of Coaching

“I love each and every one of the girls, their happy faces when they win a match or the way they support each other when they have a loss. It’s terrific to watch them all grow and show real spirit on the court.”

– Kate, Coaches Co-Ordinator

Coaching for me helps me learn whilst I’m teaching, enables me to refine my skills and question rules within the game. My primary reason for coaching is to be able to influence others the way my previous coaches have influenced me.
